Norman A. Snyder, III, CPA serves as a Partner in Aronson’s Diversified Commercial Services Group and also as a Partner in the firm’s Nonprofit Services Group. He has more than 30 years of professional experience, including 25 years in public accounting. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland in 1973. Upon earning his CPA in 1974, Norm was given the Elijah Watts Sell Honorable Mention Award.
Norm specializes in assurance and consulting services for clients that include nonprofit organizations, public companies, hi-tech companies, biotech companies and other businesses. Prior to joining Aronson & Company in 2008, Norm served as the Director of the Assurance Services Department of Fitzgerald, Snyder & Co., P.C.
As an active participant in the accounting profession, Norm has taught numerous CPE classes on financial accounting and auditing, and he has led seminars on a variety of financial management topics. He is a member of the AICPA, the Greater Washington Society of CPAs, the Virginia Society of CPAs and has served as the Chair of the Assurance Services Committee of the CPAAI. Norm is also an active participant with the Northern Virginia Technology Council, the Tech Council of Maryland and the Transaction Services Group of Praxity. Active in the community, Norm serves as Treasurer for McLean Presbyterian Church. |
