Rockville, MD, July 23, 2008/PRNewswire/ -- Aronson & Company (A&C), a nationally ranked top 50 accounting and consulting firm announced that they signed a lease to occupy two full floors in a new building in Rockville’s King Farm complex in May of 2009. Their lease includes 75,000 square feet of workspace that is being custom designed to meet both their current needs as well as accommodate future growth. This marks a significant increase to the amount of space that they currently occupy as the company has outgrown their current space in a different location within the King Farm complex, and thus began an exhaustive search for new offices more than a year ago.

When evaluating potential locations, the company found that the qualities that initially drew them to King Farm would ultimately keep them there. The complex has earned the appreciation of their employees thanks to its great amenities, proximity to major traffic arteries and, as gas prices continue to rise, its Metro accessibility with a nearby red line station and direct shuttle route. These features, combined with the fact that A&C employees had already established their lives around the community, made it a practical decision.
During the planning stages, technology infrastructure will be a very important part of the overall design. A&C executives have created a strategy that will accommodate expansion over time and reflect the ideals of a changing workforce that appreciates greater remote access strategies, full wireless access, high speed networking, and other technologies that help them work more efficiently and with less negative impact on the environment.

A&C was represented by William Herman and Eric May of Monument Realty and worked with Brian Katz and Michael Gribbon of Americas Capital Partners to negotiate the lease. In addition to working with their consultants at Monument Realty, A&C retained Hickok Cole Architects of Washington, D.C., to turn this strategic vision into a reality.
