Rockville, MD – January 3, 2011/ -- Aronson & Company, a nationally ranked accounting and consulting firm based in the Washington Metro area, has announced that it has changed its name to Aronson LLC, effective January 1, 2011. This announcement coincides with the company changing its operating entity to a limited liability company.
Jeffery Capron, Aronson’s Managing Partner, commented on the name change: “This will allow us to formally identify ourselves in the marketplace in the same manner that the market has been identifying us commonly for years – simply as ‘Aronson.’ The timing of the LLC conversion allowed us to simplify our name, while still retaining our founding identity.”
Capron, who took over the reins as Managing Partner in 2010, also noted that the timing of this announcement fits well with other positive changes at Aronson, which will celebrate its 50 year anniversary next year. In the coming year, the company plans to focus its business development efforts on taking advantage of the strong reputation they have built for having deep expertise within the specific industries they serve, and they look forward to marketing their expanded service lines under the new moniker. These services include more diverse consulting offerings for government contractors, traditional audit and accounting services geared to technology companies, and transactional due diligence services.
The company has also adopted a more modern logo designed to appeal to businesses in the new economy. The logo, part of the firm’s rebranding efforts, uses the symbol for proportional constant, a mathematical concept which they say reflects Aronson’s commitment to growing with their clients and changing as they change. You can see the company’s new logo on their updated website, www.aronsonllc.com.
