The Aronson Foundation Supports New 4+1 Accounting Program at University of Maryland

The Aronson Foundation is proud to support the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in a multi-year commitment for its new 4+1 Program in Accounting. The 4+1 Accounting Program will allow students to complete additional coursework and graduate in five years with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Accounting.

The Aronson Foundation’s support will help fund scholarships for the fifth year of the program, which is substantially more expensive than the previous four. The average in-state cost for a graduate program year is $45,000 compared to $9,500 for the in-state undergraduate program.

“We are thrilled to support the University of Maryland on this exciting initiative,” commented Kevin Gerrity, Aronson LLC’s Director of Recruiting. He continued, “The University of Maryland has provided Aronson top talent for more than 50 years.  Many of our partners, managers, and associates are proud Terps, and we are thrilled to give back to the University.”

Since its inception in 2004, the Aronson Foundation has donated in excess of $1,250,000 to worthy causes. These contributions are only made possible through the generosity and enthusiasm of Aronson team members. The Aronson Foundation is committed to giving back to the people who have made our community such a wonderful place in which to do business and live.
