If you are a veteran-owned government contractor and want to learn best business practices to win Federal Government contracts, apply NOW for the Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) September – November session. Registration is free, but limited to 50 individuals.

Since September 2009, 85 veteran-owned businesses have graduated from this intensive, six-session, 18-hour certification program instructed by professional services providers specializing in Contracting/Teaming Agreements, Human Resources, Compliance and Systems Approvals, Risk Management, Insurance and Bonding, Internal Controls, Accounting/Budgets/Developing Rates, Marketing and Proposals and Certifications.

Applicants must meet these criteria to be eligible for VIP: be a veteran business owner, principal or C-level executive for a veteran-business owned company in business for at least 2 years with a minimum of 3-4 full time employees have experience working on government contracts as a prime and/or sub-contractor to a prime have 2009 annual revenues less than $25 million
